First elk hunt

I took a adopted grandson on his first elk hunt and he was able to get this 3 or 4 year old cow at about 275 yards with one shot from one of my 25 06s. He learned about dragging an elk in a sled and how truly big they are. His family does not hunt or fish and he loves the out doors. I took him on his first deer hunt 3 years ago and no he is totally hooked.
