Everyone at work is saying that it is a Merriams shot in Rio Grande habitat, for all you turkey experts is it a merriams?

Honestly, I think the two subspecies look a lot alike, especially if you are looking at the tail. You have both in CO, so I would say it could be either one, but I might lean towards a Merriam's.
