Finally time to go

Can't believe the wait is over. Tomorrow I head out for my first out of state elk hunt. Will be hunting up in Idaho and couldn't be more excited.

After a very long fire season here in ca. Which I didn't think would ever end. My vacation finally starts which is kind of hard since I have pretty much been gone fighting fires since June. Thankfully I have a understanding wife who has no problem with me using my vaca to go chase some Bulls.

Hope to be filling my freezer. But if not I know the memories made will be worth it
