Been a follower of Randy for years and finally joined up here on the forum. 64 year old lifelong hunter, mainly whitetail and upland/migratory. Elk has always been on my bucket list, but unfortunately due to some physical issues it probably won’t happen. Anyway, elk hunting out west is still very intriguing and interesting to me! The focus of the forum is DIY, but if using a guide gets you out there for an elk hunt versus never experiencing it, I'd say look into a guided hunt that can help overcome the physical issues. Best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!
