Finally Got the Bow Out

Spring has sprung and after moving I finally had a chance to get my archery gear out yesterday. Felt great to put a few arrows on target right in my own backyard. Living in a condo next to a school I wasn't able to do that previously. Might have to go pick up that archery turkey license after all!

Have you looked into turkey hunting on the Vermillion Highlands WMA, down around Rosemount? Would be right out your backdoor, and when I did it there were plenty of birds.

I haven't, but realize I should now. I thought that whole WMA was drawn hunts only but apparently not for spring turkey. Good to know, thanks.
