Cold, windy day hunt. Fritz did great as the birds were holding tight. He pointed all 3 for me, plus about 100 hens. Great way to finish

Kinda a greenish blackish purplish dark pheasant. Ive seen them before but never got one. Too bad I crushed it, but still will try to mount it.

Thanks, ya the last few hunts have been more of a pass shooting/pushing cattails because theres too much snow in the CRP so it was nice to end on a 3 point hunt. Just glad he didnt find any porkies before the end!!! Had 2 too many this year
