I once switched dentists between an X-ray and filling a cavity. The new dentist never found the cavity.
That dentist said I had cavities in almost all of my teeth and needed root canals and all sorts of other stuff. I went to another Dentist for a second opinion and I had one cavity. I've been to the dentist 2 times a year since and I haven't had a cavity and I have never had a root canal.

My old dentist left the area and my new dentist was a very young g lady . She found all kinds of stuff she wanted to fix .
I told her - I guess you’re fresh out of dental school but I’m not going to pay off your student loans for you .
The assistant actually laughed out loud and left the room , because she couldn’t stop laughing .

My FIL refuses to go to women dentists because he thinks they only became dentists to inflict pain on men.

My wife tried a different dentist once, took X-rays and she was told she had at least 8 cavities needing work and was quoted something like 6k for it... She went to a different dentist who didn't find a single cavity and instead praised her oral hygiene, this is where she and our kids go now...

I kept my old dentist, they have TVs in the ceiling... TVs IN THE CEILING!!!

The biggest problem with Facebook Marketplace is all of the ads people post, but don't answer in a decent or timely manner.

We were in Arizona in November-December setting up our house for spending time in the winter in Arizona. Marketplace had tons of stuff for sale, but only about 1 in 4 would answer back on your query.

I did go to one lady's house in Fountain Hills, (a real nice neighborhood) to buy a gun safe.

After haggling for awhile on the safe, I asked her if she would sell her living room sofa and chair. She said she needed it until she sold the house. I told here it would be easier to sell the house with the furniture gone and to my surprise, she gave me a price. I told her I could use a dinette set too and how much would she want for the table and chairs. she said $650.00 for all of it. I said that was too much, she disagreed but said she would throw in two pole lamps for that price.

I left with a trailer full of furniture at a fraction of the cost and all of it was good quality...

Before and after...

On behalf of a increasingly shady dental system, I apologize to those of you posters that have been to a shady one. Second opinions are often a good idea if your spidey senses are tingling.

There is an old joke among dentists: go to 10 different offices, and you'll get 14 different treatment needs lists.
