Elk Virgin

Hi all!
I have been reading through these posts and so far I love this site! I have been hunting here in Idaho for three years now, and the only Elk I have seen were a couple dead cows in a ditch. Any tips on finding these ghosts? What type of terrain do they prefer? What kind of foliage? I would really like to see some this year. I would very much consider that a successful hunt. Anyway, I hope you all have a blast this season!

Well, it sounds like you know what they look like, since you saw them in a ditch. Maybe Ithaca37 or Moosie could point you in the right direction to see some live ones.

On I90 up there between Couer D'Alene and Kellog there's some just north of the highway. I saw them there a few years back.

You could get with the Montana shemales on this board, they'll take your elk virginity and them some........
