Elk in Velvet

The elk are out and about. They hang close to the feeding ground and I generally see these guys year round when I go close to our hunting area.

This is not my picture. One of my hunting buddies that lives in the area sent it to me. I can't wait to get up there.

In 2018, not getting drawn for the general hunt, got a call from Arizona F&G and asked if I would be interested in a special hunt in July in the White Mountains - being able to take an elk in velvet is really cool.
