Electric Reel?

I have a buddy that had a stroke a year ago and lost mobility in his arm, we are trying to find him an electric reel so he can get back into fishing again. Anyone ever buy one or recommend one they have seen or used. This will be used for fresh water fish, walleye, crappie, sunfish, etc. Thanks for any help.

Streamer, many moons ago when I was a kid I grew up next to a fella who was born with one arm. He loved fishing and used to build his own electric reels. 2 years ago I went back home to visit and bumped into him at a convenience store. We got to talking and I asked him if he was still fishing and still building reels. He told me he was still fishing but quit building reels because Daiwa had come out with a full line of electric reels and they outperformed the ones he built himself.

While I have no first hand experience with them I figure if a guy with one arm who is a fairly serious fisherman endorses them then they might be worth looking into.
