It is a small fan that goes on top of a wood stove that operates by heat. The hotter the stove the faster it goes. We are thinking about geting one and wanted to know who has tried it. It moves like 100 cubic feet of air per minute.

HEY Elky, We had a Fan in our Pellet stove when we lived in the LAst house, And the one before that. If thats what you're talking about it's a "MUST" buy !! They distribute the heat Very very well !!

Ummm.....what is an Ecofan? I have never heard of that before.

Well our stove has a fan or blower and works great. The ecofan uses no electricity and is very quiet. As a matter of fact, it make no noise at all which is better than listening to the blower on the stove.
