eBay, 2 cardboard boxes.

Some kind of warped sense of humor there. How'd they do it? Don't they have to pay? Somebody at eBay will want to collect some money too, I don't get it.

Well from looking at the sellers feedback, I see he has recently had a "CHRISTMAS IN JULY MYSTERY AUCTION." But these auctions were only going for $20 each, with a chance of receiving $1000. Here is how it's described:

Here's how it works:

1) I am selling a total of only 200 Mystery Packages.

2) I have already purchased the first 100 bonus gifts. They are great!!! Look at the pictures for a sampling of what Santa could bring you!!

3) After the first 100 Mystery Packages have been sold, I will take a huge risk and purchase 100 additional bonus gifts.

4) After the auction closes or all 200 Mystery pacakages have been sold (whichever comes first), I will ship all packages at the same time. The Post Office is going to hate me!!!

5) Prior to shipping, the $1000 bonus will be randomly inserted into one of the packages.

6) Even if I DO NOT SELL all 200 Mystery Boxes, I guarantee that the $1000 cash bonus will be awarded!! It's my risk, your reward!!

7) Shipping and handling is $8.50 for USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation within the US. $15 (US) for shipping to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii. This is a flat fee regardless of package size. Some boxes are big, some are small.

8) Payment is by PayPal only!

NO UNPLEASANT SURPRISES!!!

A 100% totally honest Mystery Package Auction!!!

My last Mystery Envelope auction was a hit with hundreds of happy, happy repeat buyers!!!

EVERY package contains at least one bonus.

Bid with confidence: A 6 year, eBay Power Seller with OUTSTANDING feedback on high dollar auctions up to $45,000 EACH!!

Break out the egg nog, hang up your stockings because Santa Claus is coming to town!!!

BUY NOW BEFORE THEY ARE ALL GONE!!

But...this box auction makes no sense.
