I’ll write out numbers so people can’t google search the units, but:
My plan this year is Unit N I N E T Y
for antelope and R E G I O N - K for deer.
The reason I settled here is because:
The two areas overlap.
I can scout antelope and deer on the same trips.
I can average a buddy in on the deer hunt with me.
Unit N I N E T Y N I N E elk is also something I’ve been watching for a while which is also in that area.
So triple win?
The other overlap option I had was unit O N E - H U N D R E D antelope and R E G I O N - H
It was a good option if I wanted to solo, mostly because of the deer hunt. But it also looks like there aren’t as many resident deer, so I my thought is I have a better chance to bow hunt the deer with my primary option.
Does anything smell weird about it?
