Made my first shells today. Been a 3 year journey of research, reading and component hunting.

Wanted to say Thank-you to all of you here that have provided answers and advice as I stand at the edge of the rabbit hole.

I have to say, I make sexy bullets!

Yep, Christmas day when I was 18. I received a RCBS Rock chucker kit and some components. I read the steps in the reloading manual several times and then proceeded to load 1 round 22-250. I drove outside of town and shot that one bullet. When it shot normally, I was relieved and pretty proud. I've been reloading ever since. And, I still have and use that RC press.

My uncle taught me when I was 13. 270 wsm. Still got the gun and some of the brass. Parents got me a Lee kit that was super cheap and made thousands of rounds. It's all been majorly upgraded over the 25 years.

Bought a s&w .500 revolver in college because I thought it was cool. Quickly learned college kids can’t afford ammo for that gun with other important things to spend money on. Bought a rock chucker kit and proceeded to load hundreds of rounds for that gun. Now I reload for maybe 10 different calibers and I still love doing it 23 years later.
