Dilema

I see OYOA is going to be moving to Sportsman Channel. Well, I'm moving back to New York this summer and Time Warner Cable doesn't carry the channel. They only recently picked up Outdoor Channel. How do I go about trying to get them to carry Sportsman Channel?

John - If they get enough requests, they will eventually add that network. If you have hunting buddies who can chime in, they will probably add it.

Other option is to watch the full episodes as we load them up here on Hunt Talk, a couple weeks following their premier on Sportsman Channel.

I'll still be making trips out west to Wyoming and Colorado to hunt pronghorn and elk. I'm seriously considering an Idaho bear hunt in the near future too.

John- Go onto the Sportsman's Channel website. On the right hand side there is a box that says channel locator. Put the zip code of where you are going to be moving to and it will come up with another window that tells you who carries the channel. If you go down to the bottom, the cable company should be listed with a "take action" box. Click that and put in your info. Have everybody you know do the same and make some calls. That's what I'm doing. Don't know if it will work but it can't hurt. Cable One in Boise doesn't carry it either so all you Treasure Valley guys, please do the same(even if you have dish or direct tv) Thanks in advance. BD
