This is what I’m getting using a .284 neck bushing. A .287 was barely holding the projectile in place. View attachment 397435

Hard to tell just from the picture other than the obvious coloration changes. Are you positive its the back of the neck that is fitting tight and not the shoulders?

Good point. No, I wouldn't say I'm absolutely certain it isn't the shoulders but I am full-length resizing. I might pick up a cartridge gauge to test that.

Checked 50 freshly loaded rounds in a Hornady cartridge gauge. 20ish were visibly long, the rest see just fine. All were full-length sized with cam-over. Based on the thread below, I probably need to a shorter shellholder. Any other ideas?

I am having issues with some 6.5 PRC loads. I'll start with the fact that factory loads have no issues cycling and it's a very smooth action. My reloads however are not so smooth. Out of 35 rounds I made about 2/5 are not able to chamber. I have practically no movement when I go to push the bolt...
