Desert bighorn ram killed in Loma

Been weird in Loma lately. Moose running around a few weeks ago, now this.

That ram was probably running a train on those light weights. Tough hanging with the top dog.

An interesting note about this ram. He wore a GPS collar which had malfunctioned and stopped sending locations months before this incident. The ram was killed 42 air miles from his last GPS location, outside of mapped bighorn sheep range. He crossed the Colorado River and I-70. Now that's a foray....
