here is the first shed my yellow lab Dakota found...an Elk I saw pass through the ranch an hour earlier...never found the other half...April first...
the ranch is about half- three quarters way down to the calving area...(Elk Creek)...the name is right on! @ 8,000 feet, Colorado...put an "X" on the state and thats about it...
Dakota likes to run out front of my truck...he got my attention with this in his jaws! this drop was super fresh...maybe that helped him find it so easy.
