25.06Shot with what?
Well looks like next one needs to be 30.0625.06
It was shot by Wildlife Services, not CPW.
Of course Dr. Rebecca Niemiec was going to be there headlining the event. Niemiec is a critical cog in the anti-hunting political machine here in Colorado. She runs the anti-hunting policy center at Colorado State University. Under the banner of “academic research”, Niemiec and her center provide survey data, polling research, strategy recommendations, and campaign material to anti-hunting political campaigns, most recently working in support of Proposition 127: Mountain Lion hunting ban and the CATS group. Did you ever see the statistic in CATS campaign material stating that “78% of Coloradans oppose trophy hunting of mountain lions”? Pretty strange considering Prop 127 was defeated on a 55-45 split. Ever wonder where that type of widely inaccurate partisan material comes from, you guessed it Dr. Niemiec and her crew at CSU. They intentionally generate material meant to diminish the efficacy and minimize popular support for hunting in Colorado. Their material directly supports anti-hunting political campaigns in Colorado. She also headlines CATS events in her official role at CSU.
Understand, thanks
Just imagine how many hours of meetings and field work went into those 11 pages. The financial cost to the state is much higher than listed prices.11 page report to justify removing one depredating wolf....

To be clear, it was a wolf that died in May and the FWS just confirmed the cause of death today.Another dead wolf confirmed by CPW in NW CO today, hit by vehicle.
Appreciate the detail, it was not evident from the press release today. To be clear, it was a wolf that died in May and the FWS just confirmed the cause of death today.
Which was then further subsidized by big game tags sales.A hired gun for the ag industry subsidized by the US taxpayer.
