Cow elk CO.

I have group of guys that ask me if i wanted to go to CO for frist gun season. I know geting a bull tag can take a couple of years. But i was thinking of just going for cow elk and mule deer does. I am thinking ots like unite 193.
Would you try for the bull as frist and cow second. So i can build pp. Or just put the cow for the frist try. And let it go. I have never tried this. Any ideas

Most often getting a bull tag takes zero years. just go hunting and build preference points while you do..


Unit 193 is kinda like. unicorn, very, very hard to find and even harder to access.

Glad to see there is a hunt talker with more typos than me....
