After missing a big one after traveling a couple hours from home my 13 year old shot this little fella at about 50 yards on the run while looking for blood from the missed one.
Later that evening I shot this one after he charged at our host from about 40 feet. Took my .257 weatherby expecting a possible long shot and ended up shooting it at 30 feet in the head. Should fill the freezer.
After deer season ends we'll be back in February.
