Cooking quail

Thinking about just grilling same way I cook teal. Anybody have recommendation for best and simple way to cook gambel quail.

I just pan fry mine with a little flour

Done everything from brown-n-bagging them in the oven with veges to searing them and then bacon wrapping on the smoker... hard to screw up quail, damn tastey!

Spatchcock them, brush with a little tequila, lime and butter, and grill them on hot coals. Nothing better.

My son and I stick roasted some over a campfire when he was 10...salt/pepper/flame. He still talks about how good they were.

I went with pan fry. To cold for outside cooking. Browned then simmered fantastic little birds
