Considering a South East NM Land Owner Tag

I've got the turbo goat bug real bad!! its a good thing!

I'm considering purchasing a NM landowner tag in the South East area. Any thoughts?

When I hear NM antelope I think AWESOME, however I have never been. That said, have you hear good or bad about the south eastern portion of NM?

Haven't heard much bad, except from folks who drew tags and were placed on small ranches with few antelope. You should know what you are getting into, though, with a landowner tag.

I will have all the details tomorrow morning. That was one of my concerns....

I drew SE NM in 2007, with my son. We were assigned a ranch. We shot the only two bucks we saw on the ranch. As we drove toward Roswell, we saw a lot better antelope and far greater numbers.

As Oak said, depends upon the ranch. I know a few of the ranches down there and could tell you "Good or Bad," if it is one I am familiar with.
