I think I'm getting old, went to a concert last night and there were a bunch of grey-haired people there - I fit right in. I've been a Journey fan since the '70s and for Christmas my kids got my wife and I tickets. In my opinion, no one can truly replace Steve Perry as the lead-singer for Journey, but it was still a great trip down memory lane.

...from wiki

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, Journey has sold 48 million albums in the U.S., making them the 25th best-selling band. Their worldwide sales have reached close to 90 million records, making them one of the world's best-selling bands of all time. A 2005 USA Today opinion poll named Journey the fifth-best American rock band in history. Their songs have become arena rock staples and are still played on rock radio stations across the world. Journey ranks No. 96 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Journey will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 7, 2017

Think Neil Schon is the lone remaining member...dude can play guitar. Great band way back, great now.

The first time I saw Journey play was on the Escape tour.....1980 I think. Time flies when your having fun!

My wife and I saw Jackson Browne last summer and I noticed a common theme.... A sea of grey hair! Still good music though....

I'm an old fart like you guys but Journey still sucks! You couldn't pay me to go see Journey.kunRSaI.jpg

No clown posse here, I just like music a lot harder than Journey.

Same here. I saw Journey WAAAAAAYYYYY back when. Too many teeny boppers screaming at the overhead video screen. Give me Ozzy, Sabbath, AC/DC, Judas Priest, etc. Our youngest daughter is taking ME to see Iron Maiden just before Father's Day. I took her years ago and she wants to repay me.

Dave gets it!

..but I own shirts older than you bangers.;)

Don't be so sure... I gave a grocery bag (paper!) full of my old concert shirts to our girls when they were little to wear as night shirts and such. They are now 25 and pushing 27, and those shirts came a LONG time before they did!
