Has anyone hunted the Southern portions of Unit 81 in Colorado, down near the New Mexico border? Much of that area is in the South San Juan Wilderness.
If you're familiar with that area, and the Elk movements, as the hunting seasons and Fall progresses, many of the Elk migrate across the State line and are hunted in New Mexico on a lot of private lands by Outfitters, etc..
I have horses to pack in, but never hunted down that way. With all the trailheads, etc., I wondered if I'd get any advice here?
