This is our first time hunting Colorado. If I am using a truck (F150) do I need a OHV permit to drive any roads on public land? Some things read that it maybe required but some state that is just for 4wheels, utv, etc.

i'd actually just call cpw. i had never looked at the regs on this before today and now i'm confused actually.
i dunno, i've never had an OHV permit, but i also don't think i've driven my truck on an OHV only trail. rarely do those trails allow full size street vehicles i think, so it's partly a non issue.
regular forest service or BLM roads, don't need one, that's for sure.
