Colorado GMU 60 2nd rifle help

My wife and I are going on our first western hunt this year and she will be trying to get an elk. I have my focus right now on unit 60 which I’ve e-scouted from one end to the other. I have also e-scouted part of unit 62. I will not set foot in this area till the day before season because I live in Arkansas. I’ve read everything I can find on the unit but I was hoping to hear from some people that have hunted it themselves. I really don’t know what to expect in this unit other than more hunters than game. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have hunted both units. Unit 60 can be good if it snows on Utah's Manti LaSal Mts. during your hunt. Unit 62 was a better experience for me though. I haven't been to either in over 10 years. When I hunted it I also lived I Arkansas. Good piece of driving but worth the trip for sure.
