54 became OTC last year. 2nd and 3rd seasons. LOTS of animals got taken down. Sorry but I had my last hunt in there because of that.
At least 1st season is limited tags. There are animals, but it is steep and rugged. It usually will be very warm and they will be high.
If rainbow is a graded road and I think it is, Be prepared to hike to get away from other folks.

Of course.
Think about a drop camp. I can’t remember the name but there is a new outfitter up soap creek.
They seemed nice and know their business well.

Rainbow Lake gets hammered with people. 724 is one of the main arteries into the unit.
Side note, I thought 54 was always OTC for elk?

Yep...ish
For a few years it was either-sex with caps... I think CPAW thought it was over objective.
