Colorado Crossbow (elk) application

Heading to unit 41, with my father he has a archery tag but just completely tore his rotator cuff so he either has to send his tag back or apply for a crossbow permit. I called the DOW to get the ball rolling but I wanted to see what experiences are with the hunt talk forum. Thanks!

I have a special license to use a scoped crossbow in bow season due to poor vision. I've never used, and probably won't, but you can get them.

They should send you a form for the doctor to fill out.

No....thats what he has me for, lol. I've had to carry his crap for the last 7 years.
