Still broadhead tuning in baby steps. They’re dead nuts at 40 but they drift a little at distance. I don’t plan on shooting over 45 this year, but I like the tinkering that goes into fine tuning things. 74yd shots tonight. Center punch is a field point. Other two are broadheads. Shot them BH/FP/BH. My eyesight has been a hindrance this year but I’m really happy with the consistency I’m getting in spite of that. Total spread is about 4moa. I’ll take that with archery tackle. Been shooting exodus for years. Everytime I use them, I’m more convinced.
I haven’t shot anything with them yet but have friends that have. I was impressed with what they showed me. They’ve always flown great for me and certainly look strong

That’s a dangerous game you’re playing that usually results in cut vanes.

Oh, I know! I pretty much never aim at the same dot, even with field points, but I have 20 arrows and curiosity got the best of me. Couldn't resist the urge to shoot for groups.

I hit vanes with field points at 40 last week. Was fairly irritated, given it was only 3 arrows.

My local bow shop gave me a new bow a few weeks ago. I’ve been helping them with their marketing and bringing in a bunch of business, so they set me up with a new Mathews lift.

I’m obsessed with my carbon defiant 34, but I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Going to be setting out in a few weeks to get my first blood on the Mathews.IMG_9622.jpegIMG_9619.jpeg

Finally had a moment to shoot my bow this afternoon it has probably been 3 weeks.IMG_6327.jpeg

I'm pretty happy with this first shot. I was at 15 yards.

Sadly, the other 23 arrows I shot were not quite as good. But I will probably start shooting more now that I have moved my eldest into college and nearly completed the preparations for my youngest's marching band season.
