CO Unit 35,36,361 Trout Fishing

Greetings all,

I will be hunting the units north of vail this year for elk, 1st rifle season. I was hoping to also get in a little trout fishing during my time in that area.

Could anyone recommend some good spots to hit while I'm there? Most of my scouting energy will be used on elk spots.

There are a few rivers in the Vail area that I hear have good fishing. Eagle River, Gore Creek and Colorado River are all in the vicinity.
