CO Unit 12, 23, and 24N

I drew a Archery Mule Deer Tag for Unit 12, 23, and 24N I will be going opening week. It will be my first time in the area so if anyone knows any info it would be greatly appreciated.

i know but I have a Elk tag for 3rd season in Unit 61, but I know that area. Im not familiar with the Mule Deer Tag area...

Your tag is only good for Mule Deer? I've seen Whitetail Only listed, but never a Mule Deer Only

LOL I do remember a thread I did about unit 7 in Wyoming because I was going on a hunt with some friends and wanted to make sure they weren't full of shiznit before I paid for my tag, but I was here for a while before I did that...lol

That early in the season, I would think timberline. I've hunted 12 for elk in the past. I saw a few deer, quite a few elk, and hords of hunters. Way off the trails, and up high would be my suggestion.
