CO Bear Success

My buddy had an Archery Elk Tag and I had a Bear tag for CO.

Elk activity was slow, warm temps and a full moon opening week. We saw 4 cows while driving one day. Heard prob a dozen bugles.

We saw tons of bears. I took this one on Thursday morning. Game Warden estimated 8 years old.

Nice bear!! I will be out there (N/W part of the state) for the first rifle season in a few weeks. A bear will be a bonus. Hopefully, we see some too!
