Chukar Info

Kick me in the feels why don't ya, my granddads wingmaster my brother and I fight over was a gift to him from my mother many decades ago. He means a lot to my brother and I, and both want that connection through the thing he loved the most outdoors. Quail, good dog work, and that wingmaster.
making memories.

FWIW - I see several in GB for good prices.

I need to find out where you guys who say Nevada is easy are hunting! I’ve been chasing the little bastards for nearly 50 years here now and can only remember a handful of hunts in gentle terrain. I suspect I know where and will be heading that way this fall since my 61 year old body needs to avoid the 3,000 vertical days as much as possible. Maybe it’s my inability to talk myself into hunting anything that’s not steep, tall and rocky.

As far as a tip, whatever elevation you find the first convey at there’s a good chance other coveys will be at similar elevations.

A friend likes to carry compact binos and can often spot the look out bird of a covey standing on a rock a long way off.
