Chased grouse and woodcock the first week of October. Hit a new area of the north Maine woods and did well. Weather was sporadically wet, but decent.

With dad’s dog not doing so well, we were down to my two dogs. Would have been nice to have the third dog.

Saw a cow moose, and the head of a small bull harvested by the guys ahead of us at the campsite.

We got 14 grouse and 0 woodcock (we only put up a couple).

Another good year.

No. Unfortunately it's been a couple of years since my last trip and it might be a couple of more before I can get back. Sure miss it & the folks I stayed with.
