Loved it Depp was great...... Liked it much better then the original version and that is not the case with me most of the time!

Loved Depp. He can do things noone else would get away with.
I thought the movie was really creepy though (of course so is the book). I wondered the whole way through how many kids went home and had nightmares of big creepy grins and oompaloompas.

My kids loved the original, so we decided not to screw with that. Besides, they saw a trailer for the new one and the oldest said, "why is a girl dressed up like Willie Wonka?"

Since the movie was shown at the theatre the week it came out on DVD we just rented it
It was okay but now Depp made the Wonka character seem so gay instead of just strange. I like the original way more. So did the boys. They actually thought the movie was bad.

Saw it yesterday with the kids on pay for view. was alot better than the org one.
The org. one bothered me when I was a kid and I thought I would never watch it again, this new one was pretty cool
