The pecker method. I believe they measure the the distance between the the nostril holes on the beak and the length of the beak. The bigger the beak or “pecker”, as it’s commonly referred to in the fowl world, the older the bird.2.5? Do they use the spur?

That pic doesn’t do that goat justice. Absolutely massive in person. Aka the Cape buffalo monikered by a coworker. This is a prime example of genetics trumping age for anyone planning a goat hunt.
