Anyone have one? I messed up and stopped in the local dealer about getting my 07 ranger in for some work before trapping season. Was just kind of window shopping the new rangers and the salesman said I should really look at the Can Am. Well the wife and I took it for a test drive and man it is nice. The cab and heat would be awesome on the trap line, but the a/c was nice on the test drive yesterday. Just wondering if anyone had one and how they like it

My buddy has the Can Am max version with all of the goodies. The cab is best in class and the heat on sub freezing days is a treat. He absolutely loves the machine and uses it on several properties and for hunting—has just over $40k in it.

Have polaris (2015 ish) for work but recently used a newer can am from another unit, it was nice, seats were much more comfortable, hvac cab kept the dust out and nice and cool. Smoother engagement on the transmission.

My son in law uses one to show ranch properties...not sure about cab conditioning but he has tried Polaris & Kawasaki seems to prefer Can Am. I have had Can Am the last two decades...a Defender HD8 currently. No AC nor Heat.

Love mine!
All around better machine. I’ve had both and will definitely stick with the CanAm.
4 of my buddies have made the switch to CanAm that were Polaris guys. Like @kwyeewyk said, it’s smoother shifting, cab seals better, etc.

Just make sure to look at the Polaris HD1500 to compare. I have not seen the Cam Am Version but I would just look at both. I have the HD1500 and cant imagine there is anything better.

The 1500 fixes all the things about the the range people complained about. Shifting, belts, sealed cab, noise, etc

Have a single seater, son has a double seater, no cab, just a windshield. We use them on the farm and abuse em when we are irrigating. So far they have been relatively trouble free, with only one fuel pump taking a dump for no apparent reason. They’re smooth for slow work like spot spraying, powerful if you need it and will move faster than the hired help needs to drive! Buddy drove mine once, bought himself one the next week. Said it was better than anything else they have owned.

The only thing that Polaris missed on the HD1500, could have easily added a low range in the trans when spec'ing it out. Yes, it has different drive modes, but no actual low range is a major drawback.
