No i'm not in my stand yet ben, but I just came from there last night and got a couple pics , They are poor pics but I know why. I was wondering why there was not to many pics on camera and now I know. Need to go out tonight and move the camera.any way here is a couple pics

Nice Pictures Trent,i Havent Seen A Deer In A While,i Dont Even Remember What They Look Like Heres A Few Pictures Of Canada Geese That Were In My Front Yard,as You Can Tell They Were Pretty Nerveous So I Had To Take Pictures From Far Away

You know ben the geese here are thinker then crows in which we pay no attention back home. Just like the geese here. I tell you I can not wait til late fall comes so I can see the sky here again after the geese head south.

Already took care of that the same day I got the pics back Bruce , I have it facing the other way now.I do know that the deer are moving threw in the morning there cause that is where the sun rises.I tell you I just got home and I'm dead on my feet and I get to have enought boost to put in 5 hour and 45 minutes at wally world. Wife will be home tomorrow around 10am if no delays.Wow I got to lay down for a few minutes, later all.

Down and out , I get home and I know the better half started her new job today so I made home made potato salade and got the good steak (Which I ran out for).I got back and she was home . I thought her shift was longer but it was not. Any way we talk I finishes the salad and got tomorrow lunch ready for her as well. (Cook it up any ways). I head out to the BBQ to cook and it dicide to ran in the mean time. There I stand drinking and getting wet as well. Finaly 30 minute later I get soak and head in and there she lays like the sweet heart she is sleeping. I figure I have one more beer and then go wake her up. So I'm off and you know what I don't care cause I still love her as the day I met her. Nope I'm wrong I love her more then that. Later guys.

I Am Happy To See Things Going Well For You Trent,i Think I May Have Lucked Out On A Moose Hunt,my Buddy Had Been Asked To Guide By One Of His Co Workers Who Got His Liscence,and He Then Asked Me To Join Him,zone 24[bruce]that Is Were We Hunt For Deer Also,it Will Be Different To Hunt For Moose On Those Grounds,anyway Im On Vacation For The Rest Of The Week And Next Weektalk To You Guys Later

Hello Trent, Guess who this is? I had some extra time these last couple of days and had a chance to read your 'Thread' ?? Very interesting, sounds like you've hooked up with some good guys to chat with. From N.B. as well. Know who yet? Finally read final page of thread and when I got to the part ' love the wife' stuff, you near had me crying. Anyway, this is Dave, thought I would touch base this way and see if I can work this chat. Not used to this stuff, but very interesting, pictures and all. When you are up this fall you will have to show me how I can add photos. Also, when you're up we should try to get you to meet 'Big Ben' and 'Still Learning'. I'm sure we can take a day off from hunting. I'm really looking forward for a couple weeks vacation this fall as I haven't had any this summer. I'll have stove installed and GPS mastered for you. I have to buy myself another GPS as I lost mine in a canoe upset on the St. Croix River. Keep posting your photos as they are real interesting. My son gave me a camera like yours ( in your photo) but it is digital with solar panel. I'll have to start using it and posting the photos as well. I have seen quite a few deer down by my old house ( the tree stand we were in in the snow storm). Also there were a doe and two kids hanging around the road by the apple tree ( Harris's) in Tracy, but I saw one of the kids dead in the ditch yesterday morning. Seems to be alot of deer around this year compared to the past 4 years. Anyway gotta take a breath and get back to work. Talk later. Mooseheadred

Hey there big Dave , glad you are hooked up and running as well. There is nothing to master as far as it is to post photo here. I'll show you when we hook up this fall as well. I hope to tag on a couple deer here befor I come up.Cause I too need a vacation from both jobs. I tell you i'm so tire im going to go to bed right after this message.I think I'm going to bring up my camera as well so when I'm not on the stand after dark I will turn the cam on to see if and what is moving threw after dark.That place you keep saying we are going to go to where I was not to far from with the climber from last year we have to get out there this year. I got another stand (Not a climber) that would be great for there. If you know of any good pine/fur/spruce out there for it then we will place it up.This stand if your not froze to death you can relax and not fall out. It is like a hamick plus you are boxed in with a rest for shooting.I'm going to buy some kind of skirten to try to keep as much freezing wind off your lower body as possible.I'll be right back going to throw pants on and take a pic of the box and show you what it looks like that way you can come up with any ideas to help out in setting it up this fall.I'm on here briefty at times but on most every day.So don't be shy and post away. brb.ok here is this stand , think of any thing that we can use that does not make a sound and blocks the wind. You know the saying the warmer and relax you are the longer you will stay out there and sleep hump . Looks like you got yourself a good set up bruce, Wonder if there are any cars running around the roads with cans stringing behind them.Well ben hope that all went well for you two and the weather was great as well.I'm all shower shave and no place to go.So I will go down stairs and open that boxs to make sure all the parts are there for the stand.then maybe go out to daughter/son-in-law house and see what is new if any thing.Have a good weekend everyone.Dave any plans for long weekend ? Hi Trent, Had to baby sit grand kids while my Daughter and Son-in Law went to Moncton for Rolling Stones Concert. Did go to Brothers camp for an evening of family get together--bonfire/corn boil/fireworks. Brian did get banged up on a late nite ATV run. He is in hospital with 4 broken ribs and punctured lung. Maybe this will settle him down some. He's going to miss moose season now, as he was going with a friend of his. He should be okay for deer season however, I kind wanted to take you down there for a couple days hunt. Take care.

Dam dave , sorry to hear about Brian , question is will he learn from it or not hump . It is 6:30am here on a wednesday i'm getting ready to go to work . I at least am off til saturday at wally world.Going to brian camp for a couple days hunt sounds good to me, But I recall you saying there is not much there and it was like a get away thing. Which sounds good to me just to lay around a couple days (I sure can use it right about now). Well like the heading say (The result are in) I place my camera out and in eight days the film was full. So tonight I hope to post pics . if not then I will try at less to scanne them all.By the way dave I have what you been waiting for as well on the first picture,It was the same day I place the camera out .
