Calling cow elk

What calls do you use to talk to cow elk ?

If specifically looking to call a cow in I will typically use either a lost cow or calf call. I have had very good luck in the past just making it sound like I'm lost, looking for a herd or my mother.

+1 on the lost cow call.
Other then that bulls bugle to attrack cows....If you try this it seems to work early archery season...not so well later on.
