Bundy stuff

An unlimited tags slow elk season would be quite the attraction.

Wonder what the the legality is of 'poaching' illegal cows?
It's not California so squatters rule doesn't count so seems like the cows are illegal squatters and need to be dealt with.

There is absolutely 0% chance under this administration that the Department of Interior is all of a sudden going to try and put teeth into their enforcement on a grazing issue.

There is no internal affairs department in the federal law-enforcement realm of the BLM and Forest Service. Internal affairs complaints go directly to your elected officials. There is a USFS LEO that is/was on admin leave because he tried to enforce a trespass by a rancher.
There is no discretion on the ground? I find that hard to believe.

But if that's really the case then we need more letters to the editor. More coverage in general. There are enough "normal" generally law-abiding citizens on both sides of the aisle to see that this is BS.

It's public lands, let the public repo the cows.
Too messy when they are spread out across tens of thousands of acres. Just put a lean on the cattle and when ever Bundy tries to sell any cattle you just take the money or you wait until they are loaded on a truck or in a feed lot and then take them.
