I bought a leftover Antlerless tag a couple weeks ago and decided to take the dog .
Actually it was take the dog or deal with the wife after words .

All three were just like that !
I jumped a big one today , 1300 lbs I would guess , but I’m prone to embellishment. But I didn’t get a pic of him , he left in a hurry .
Then I walked up on these two , I didn’t see the bull till the cow decided to leave .

We covered some ground , no fresh Elk sign to be found .

Getting the truck ready was expensive, wheel bearing’s, lower ball joints , alternator , belts and pulleys, but it’s got to be done .
And I made sure I had all the latest safety and recovery gear !

I left without seeing an Elk , just lots of Moose .
Buddy and I were walking the bottoms and he got ahead of me a little bit on our last day .
He walked up on two Bulls laying down , when they stood up he came running out of there and looked at me like “Ain’t you gonna run?”

Also , this little heater was a hit , on low it was too much for the topper .
