looks very well made, and purpose-built. $550 is real money.A full-size restaurant pan, 8" deep seems like a reasonable move

I presume the burner is enclosed? What happens when it burns out (they all do). Is there a replacement?
 
I looked into one last year but couldn’t justify the cost. I’ve just kept the box for the “chicken” fryer I bought instead. To keep space minimal you could also just buy a 5lb propane cylinder.
