I have some Lowa Sheep hunters that are around 8 years old but the outside are pretty solid yet. The goretex inner liners have let go at the stiched seams that run up the heel to calf line. I was wondering if anyone knew a repair place that would do a good job fixing this problem or if these are just junk now. Hate to scrap a broke-in pair of expensive boots for this kind of failure.

I don't know if you will have any luck finding someone to fix Gore-tex liners. You might try Hoffman Boots, although they don't mention such service either.

I would try Lowa first and let them know you are not expecting the work to be done under warranty.

I've never used one but my Bro-Inlaw has used a GoreTex repair kit on the back of his Danners. I think he bought it through Bass Pro. Looks like a fabric Tire patch that you trim to fit.
