Boise, China

From the article:

Thanks to the trillions of dollars that the Chinese have made flooding our shores with cheap products, China is now in a position of tremendous economic power. So what is China going to do with all of that money? One thing that they have decided to do is to buy up pieces of the United States and set up "special economic zones" inside our country from which they can continue to extend their economic domination. One of these "special economic zones" would be just south of Boise, Idaho and the Idaho government is eager to give it to them. China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach for short) plans to construct a "technology zone" south of Boise Airport which would ultimately be up to 50 square miles in size. The Chinese Communist Party is the majority owner of Sinomach, so the 10,000 to 30,000 acre "self-sustaining city" that is being planned would essentially belong to the Chinese government........click the link for more

Yes, disgusting. They came in the 'back door' - South America, looking for precious metals and land deals came along. Started this process and working their way up many years ago. Finally to ID. A shame.
Speaking of which, how many Canadian Hunt Talkers on here? Or better question, what is the mix of national vs international on this site? A l ot of guys travel the world and tell us about their experiences doing OYOA, so thought came to mind?

A commercial realtor here told me about a huge Chinese purchase in Idaho last year. He said they are quietly buying up a lot of commercial real estate in AZ and are happy to let it sit empty for future use. I think when our government allowed the free trade with China it was the end of America as we know it. It should have a positive benefit by creating jobs for our people as long as they don't shoot us in the head if we take too long a break.

The Chinese didn't force us to buy their stuff. We decided not to buy at home. This is pretty much how the money comes back to us. The only thing of value that we have anymore is our land. Pretty soon we won't have that.
