I'm going into the Bob Marshall over pryamid pass plan to hunt youngs creek drainage, any thoughts?

It's been many years, but we used to hunt the Little Shanley Creek drainage just north of the Bob Marshall. I don't know much about Youngs Creek, but if it's anything like Little Shanley watch for white tails low in the thick bottoms, mule deer high in transition areas between open hill side to thick cover, and the elk are always on the move. If you are lucky and get heavy snow elk always move south-west.

If you quit hunting Idaho because of wolves why are you hunting an area that has a bunch of wolves in it also?

I hope you bag a wolf...I hear they like to eat horse so make sure you sleep with your tent door facing your horses.

The wolves aren't near as thick there as they are in other parts of the state... I sure hope you fill that tag though!

There are plenty of elk right there, but they get good pressure. Get AWAY from the trails, back up in the little, thick basins...

Good Luck!
