So just read a really interesting article in Field Ethos on blending powders. The article describes a Safari in which one of the hunters is from California using blended powder mix to hunt plains animals. The usual discussion each evening on animals taken until it became the "blended" hunter's turn. Seems he missed absolute giant of an Eland well over 60"!!! He blamed the PH for poor yardage call. Hmmm, 130 meters, what could have gone wrong?
Well it seems the Cali hunter just lost his hunting pal and decided to take him to Africa on Safari with him.

C'mon guesses?
Yes he did! His loads were carefully loaded with favorite load with 3 grains of his buddy's cremation ashes on top like cake icing!
His shot was bit low according to PH. A grave digger shot.

I dunno, maybe his friend was PO'ed he couldn't go?
