Checked a few of the local pawn shops for the stand this weekend, nothing showed up but have some guys out there keeping their eyes open. I would sure like it back, that and the steps.It would have been fairly awkward for the dude to have caught him half way down the tree with stand in hand that morning for sure.

Bummer about the stand. Here is MN it's not legal to leave a stand on "regular" public land at all. I believe you can leave it on forestry land for like 12 days at a time if you keep using it, but I'm not in to getting my stuff stolen so I never would.

Nice bull, but he is right. That stand was unattended personal property. You get ten days. Then you get a fine for littering and lose your license for a year.

I'm not trying to start something here but was this public land? If so maybe the dirtbag is a government enforcement person. Call them up. Don't make assumptions. Look at this from a positive angle. Mark
