Bison or (Buff)

Guy I know at work went to Utah and shot a buff last week. Personally I don't agree with penned hunts, but is JMHO. Anyway he brought back some scraps and made jerky and brought me some today, OMG,delicious! Grandma and Pop Pop had the grandsons this evening so I cut it up in very small pieces to see what they would think. Number one said he couldn't have any because of his braces,but little brother was fighting his gram for the last bit. As gram was headed out the door with them I ask her what she thought about buff heart jerky. Comment was, "Well if you would have got your cow (elk) or deer this year maybe we could have had some jerky."
So.... instead of dealing with funerals next summer and we can get out and scout,who knows? So sounds like I may have a chance in 2011? Hmmm?
