I got two yesterday but it took a lot of miles! Only three shots all day. Missed my third bird at sunset when it flew into the sun. Both dogs are foot sore today and wind is supposed to kick up to 50 mph this afternoon so I'll probably do laundry. Hunting here is horrible. I'll drive a hundred miles east tomorrow and see if it's any better.
People are not behaving very safely here. Sure makes me nervous. They all flock to church every Sunday in this conservative Bible Belt but don't care enough about their neighbour to wear a mask. Their Constitutional Right to make themselves and everyone else sick trumps Christian moral obligation to follow the Golden Rule. I don't get it. I'm sure the Founding Fathers would be just as baffled.
